From a single room refresh to a new roof and a warmer, better-protected home, we handle the design, the trades and the tidy-up — so you only have one number to call.

Kitchens
Complete kitchen design and fitting — strip-out, plumbing, electrics, plastering, worktops, tiling and appliances. Supply-and-fit, or we’ll install a kitchen you’ve bought yourself.

Bathrooms & wet rooms
Family bathrooms, en-suites, cloakrooms and fully tanked wet rooms, including accessible designs with level-access showers and grab rails.

Extensions & lofts
Single-storey rear and side-return extensions, garage conversions and dormer loft conversions — with drawings, building control and structural calculations arranged for you.

Replacement roofing
Full re-roofs in tile and natural slate, flat roof replacements in EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass, plus new fascias, soffits, guttering, lead work and chimney repairs. Scaffolding is arranged and all waste removed.

Replacement insulation
Removal of old, damp or failed insulation — including cavity wall extraction and spray foam removal — replaced with modern loft, cavity and wall insulation that keeps your home warm without trapping moisture.

Wall coatings & render
Breathable exterior wall coatings, silicone and acrylic render, and masonry repairs that refresh tired brickwork and pebbledash, protect against the weather and cut down on future maintenance.

Carpentry & joinery
Made-to-measure alcove units, fitted wardrobes, understairs storage, internal doors, skirting, architrave and staircase refurbishment.

Plastering & decorating
Skimming, re-boarding, coving and ceiling repairs, followed by a clean, professional paint finish inside and out.

Engineered wood, LVT, laminate and porcelain tiling, plus the smaller jobs — sticking doors, leaking taps, loose tiles and all those odd jobs on the list.

All Day Home Improvements was set up with one simple idea: homeowners deserve a builder who answers the phone, arrives when they say they will, and finishes what they start.
We’re a small, close-knit team of carpenters, plasterers, tilers and fitters, working alongside trusted, fully qualified electricians and plumbers. Because we manage every trade ourselves, jobs run in the right order, there are no gaps between trades, and you’re never left chasing people.

FAQs
Questions we’re often asked
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Home visits and written quotes are free and there’s no obligation to go ahead.
Can you remove spray foam or failed cavity wall insulation?
Yes. We survey first to confirm what’s there and whether it’s causing damp or problems with mortgage valuations, then remove it and replace it with a suitable breathable insulation. You’ll get photos and a written record of the work for your files.
Will I need planning permission?
Many rear extensions and loft conversions fall under permitted development, but it depends on your property and location. We’ll check during the survey and can arrange drawings, planning applications and building control sign-off for you.
How do payments work?
For larger projects we agree a staged payment schedule linked to clear milestones, so you only pay for work that’s been done. Smaller jobs are paid on completion.
Are you insured?
Yes — we carry public liability insurance, and we’re happy to send a copy of our certificate with your quote.
Can I stay at home while the work is done?
In most cases, yes. We’ll plan the work to keep disruption to a minimum — for kitchen projects we can often set up a temporary sink and worktop so you’re not without one for long.
